I think the fascination with alcohol is to remember the good times and to forget the bad times. Teens might be curious on what might happen when you drink alcohol. Drinking alcohol can effect parts of your body. Effects on the organs might be on the liver it can cause alcohol poison. On the Kidney alcohol can make the kidneys stop maintaining a proper balance of body fluids and minerals. On th stomach it can irritates the digestive system. On the brain alcohol effects the brain cells.It makes unclear thinking, slurred speech. Alcohol in the brian can cuase unconsciousness or death. Long term problems might be physical damage. Organs such as the stomach, the liver, and the pancreas can be damaged.The braim also suffers from continuos abuse. I think the people are driven to use drugs and alcohol because the think that it will take away there problems. I dont think alcohol should be banned i think people should just abey by the law and wait till they are 21 to drink. I think it should be banned becuase i think that if your 21 you should know what you are doing and choose to make the right decision.

Our Food Supply

well soy contains a large concentration of isoflavones. Isoflavones is a class of phytoestrogens. Phytoestrogen are estrogen-like chemicals. So yes it is a negative consequence. For the second part of the question, some times its a bad thing to speed up the growing process because they use chemicals to speed up the process. Sometimes the chemicals they use are not good for humans and can make them sick.

Rachel's Challenge

I would say that the most important thing to me would be treating others how you would want to be treated. I feel that no one should judge anyone with out even knowing them. I want to be remebered as a nice kind caring person. I try to treat other the way i want to be treated. Which I would likw to be treated nicely so i assume that other would want to be treated nicely too. I dont know if a will have a legacy. I hope that everyone would just treat everyone fairly.

Identifying a problem: Im pregnant

Gathering information: What happens when your pregnant, what you have to go through.

Analyzing the situation: to think what im going to do about being pregnamt.

Developing options: adoption, abortion, or to keep the baby

Evaluating options: looking at adpotion, giving up my kid. At abortion, killing my kid. Keeping the baby and watch the baby grow.

Selecting a preferred alternative: An open adption.

Acting on the decison: I put my baby up for adoption, becasue the father didnt want to help and i couldnt raise the baby by myself. i knew it would be hard but i had to do what was best for the baby. An open adoption i thought would be hard to because i would always want to take the baby. So i went through with a closed adoption.

My Dreams

My dreams in the next 2 years is to graduate high school and to go to college. When I am in college I want to study to be a Pharmacist. Once i am done getting all my degrees to becoming a great Pharmacist and get a soild job. I want to settle down and get married after my job is set in stone. After a few years of being married i want to have two to three kids. I want to life in a place that has snow and is also hot in two different seasons. In 50 years i see myself going to my class reunion. Showing how accomplish i am and seeing what others have accompish. In 50 year I might even be retired.

My Biography

Hello my name is Allison Burton. I have 3 younger sisters and 1 older brother. I have 3 dogs named mickey dewey and lola. I was born January 1, 1993 which makes me 16 years old right now. I dont play any sports but I would like to think I'm active. I help my sister Isabel improve her soccer skills. You will always see me out with my family or friends. My family is very important to me. I am interested in helping others and that is why I take part in Key Club. For college I would like to go to Edinboro. I would like to go there because it's a great school that is close to home. As for my career I would like to become a Pharmacist. If I change my mind and want a different career I would become a funeral director, go to morchuary school and take over the family business. So long for now.
